At Studio Fitology, our Pilates program strengthens your core, improves posture, and enhances mobility. Whether on the mat, chair, or reformer, each class is designed to balance strength, control, and mindful movement.

Pilates Reformer Classes in North York, Toronto

Pilates at Studio Fitology is taught on the Pilates Reformer, on the mat and on the chair. The Reformer is our signature class: a sliding carriage, adjustable springs, straps and a foot bar let you work against controlled resistance, so the same exercise can be made easier for a beginner or more challenging for an experienced client. Mat Pilates uses body weight and props to build core stability, flexibility and precise alignment.

Benefits of Pilates Reformer and Mat Pilates

  • Core strength and stability that supports the spine in everyday movement.
  • Better posture and alignment, especially helpful if you sit for long hours.
  • Mobility and flexibility through controlled, lengthening movement.
  • Low-impact, joint-friendly training with adjustable spring resistance.
  • Body awareness through breath and precise technique.

Who Is Pilates For?

Our Pilates classes run at beginner-friendly, progressive and advanced levels, and instructors offer modifications in every class. If you are recovering from an injury, managing back, neck or shoulder discomfort, or are pre- or post-natal, start with a private Cadillac Pilates session and let your instructor know about your history before class.

What to Expect in Your First Pilates Reformer Class

Arrive a few minutes early so your instructor can show you how to set the springs, foot bar and straps. Reformers and props are provided; grip socks are recommended for safety on the Reformer, and for mat classes please bring your own mat and a water bottle. Classes are kept small, so booking ahead through the Studio Fitology app or the class schedule is recommended.
